Therapy and Mental Performance Coaching to help you thrive under pressure, build self-esteem and strengthen relationships.

Teens & Parents- Confidence Coaching
Adolescence can be one of the hardest stages of life. Teens are under pressure from school, sports, friends and social media. All while trying to figure out who they are. Many struggle with self-doubt, comparison, or fear of failure. Through my 8-week Confidence Coaching Program, I help teens:
-
Strengthen self-esteem and self-belief
-
Build resilience to handle setbacks
-
Develop healthy coping skills for stress and anxiety
-
Stay accountable with weekly support and check-ins
-
Partner with parents so the growth continues at home
I also provide support between sessions via WhatsApp/Text, because confidence isn't build in just one hour a week, it's built daily
Athletes & High Performers
I know what it feels like to perform under pressure and to battle self-doubt in critical moments. That's why I coach athletes, professionals and leaders to build the mindset and habits needed to thrive at the highest level.
Our work together focuses on:
- Performing with confidence under pressure
- Overcoming mental blocks and negative self-talk
- Building consistency, focus and resilience
- Creating healthy habits that support long-term success, on and off the field
My approach combines my background as a professional athlete, licensed social worker and mental performance coach, giving you both the mental skills and the emotional tools to excel.

Couples: Therapy and Connection Coaching
Relationships take work and sometimes life's pressures make communication and connection difficult. Couple often find themselves stuck in cycles of conflict, misunderstanding or distance.

I help couples create a safe and supportive space to:
- Improve communication and emotional connection
- Navigate conflict with respect and clarity
- Rebuild trust and intimacy
- Strengthen resilience as a team
Together, we focus on practical tools and compassionate guidance so you can not only overcome challenges, but also rediscover the joy of relationship

About
Hi, I’m Ari Kafka. Sports have always been my outlet—a place where I felt most alive and in control. I was a three-sport athlete in high school and went on to play college baseball at Quinnipiac University. I was fortunate to learn from legendary mentors, including MLB stars Dick Radatz and Jim Lonborg, who introduced me to the power of the mental game—a lesson that carried me all the way to three seasons in Minor League Baseball with the Seattle Mariners.
After retiring from professional sports, I pursued my passion for helping others. I earned my Masters in Social Work and am a licensed Social Worker, spending the past decade supporting incarcerated individuals, abuse survivors, addicts, and young adults navigating mental health challenges.
Today, I combine my athletic background and clinical expertise as a Mental Performance Coach. I help teens, athletes, high performers, and couples build confidence, resilience, and stronger connections—empowering them to thrive both on and off the field.

My Approach:
-
Blend of clinical therapy and performance coaching
-
Certified in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT); Also integrate tools and techniques from Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) and Mindfulness
-
Compassionate, practical and tailored to each person and couple

I love witnessing real growth, seeing someone name their truth, trust themselves and celebrate victories big and small.
